Associate Project Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple projects from award of business to final closeout.
  • Create and manage the master project schedule, driving team progress to the schedule.
  • Verifying Willo and subcontractor designs and concepts meet the as-sold scope of work
  • Manage the project submittal process with the Project Engineer, outside vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Coordinate internal resources and contract manufacturers, vendors, and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Manage the relationship with the customer and all project stakeholders.
  • Establish, manage, and coordinate installation schedule with customer.  Coordinate installation with the Field Installation Manager.
  • Tracking of project budgets, ensuring each phase of the project is within plan, identifying and mitigating risks to the project’s success.
  • Main point of contact between Willo and Customers.
  • Regular reporting on job progress and costs to management.
  • Managing subcontractors that support the Willo installation.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate project teams
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Pass background checks and pass a drug screening
  • Up to 30% travel, but based out of the Decatur, AL office
