Many older facilities were designed using a narrow-jamb lock that would fit in a two-inch-wide door frame. While this was not a bad lock for minimum security applications, it will not withstand the abuse it gets when used in today’s maximum-security cell block. We offer three solutions that will increase the security level of this lock to maximum security.
- Wedge with Gripper (This uses a medium-maximum security lock housed in the Wedge which offers increased security features. See video link on homepage.)
- Replacement lock pocket with Gripper
- Conversion to a sliding device
